Each phase of the Kumbh holds profound significance, and Maghi Poornima, the culminating full moon of the Mela, is no exception. It is a time of Ha-Nu-Man, Nir-Vana, and Kalpa-Vasis — a sacred convergence of devotion, transcendence, and timeless awareness.
KAL-PA VA-SI
A Kalpa is an aeon, an era, a vast span of time encompassing all four yugas — Kali’s living face. A Kal-Pa is an immersion into the experience of living in time’s expanse.
Va-Si — mind dwelling its chosen path.
A Kalpa is often described as a day in the life of Lord Brahma.
For the Kalpavasis, their disciplined spiritual practices and unwavering devotion serve but one purpose — Moksha, self-realization, the awakening that leads beyond even the identity of a Kalpavasi.
They form one of the foundational pillars of the Kumbh Mela, arriving by the thousands on Paush Poornima, their journey beginning at the sacred banks of the Ganges. Maghi Poornima marks their departure, the completion of their time spent dwelling in the flow of existence.
To a Kalpavasi, the Ganges is both destiny and destination —a passage marking the end of Vana-prastha and the threshold of Sanyasa and beyond.

Maghi Poornima is also observed as Parinirvana or Sangha Day, commemorating the moment when Gautama Buddha entered final Nirvana.
Nir-Vana — the awakened one, who has transcended the wilderness of linear time and karmic cycles. A portal, a birth into pure consciousness, free from all illusion.

HA-NU-MAN is Va-Yu Putra — the sun/son of Wind and Air.
The rise of the new ascended human consciousness, stabilized and playing as the awakened subtle body and subconscious mind.

What am I?
The identity we primarily be, perceive from/as determines what we are grounding — living. Mattering.
Identified primarily with/as a linear, conceptual, gross body-mind-world, consciousness plays as a denser, separate self. Grounded in/as separation. A physical body based inner I vs an a disconnected outer world/reality. Random, by chance is the theme of this self/experience.
To awaken as conscious awareness itself is to be unbound and limitless. Seamless one simply appearing as an inner-outer.
Light, space, ether is unfragmentable! I AM A-ka-sha.
That which I am conscious of — is —what I am. Conscious as.
No-thing lies outside that which I AM/Awareness.
